About Sandrine
Sandrine Devillard is a director in McKinsey’s Paris office. She co-leads McKinsey’s Consumer Packaged Goods and Retail practices in Europe. She has special expertise in merchandising, especially assortment and pricing, as well as in organization and operations, particularly lean retailing and end-to-end supply-chain management.
Within the consumer-packaged-goods and retail sectors, Sandrine Devillard works with multinationals on large-scale transformation programs, including supply-chain reconfiguration, sourcing reorganization, operations optimization, new format implementation, brand repositioning, and commercial-strategy renewal. She concentrates mainly on the organizational aspects of these programs and on their implications for capability building. Her clients include mass retailers, specialist stores, and textile, fashion, and luxury companies.
Sandrine Devillard also co-leads McKinsey’s “Women Matter” research program, which aims to promote gender diversity in large companies’ senior management. She regularly addresses conferences and the media on the topic of women in top management. She is also a global leader of the McKinsey Women initiative, a program designed to attract, develop, and mobilize women’s talents through specific recruitment, training, coaching, flexibility, mentoring, and women’s networking programs.
Sandrine is also a member of the jury of the Grand Prix Unibail-Rodamco of the Jeunes Créateurs du Commerce (Young Business Creators), a competition aimed at stimulating, developing, and supporting innovation in business.
