About Pascal
Based in Paris, Pascal Baumgarten co-leads the firm’s work in organizational design in Europe.
Pascal Baumgarten works mainly with clients in the financial sector, healthcare, and the sport business. He advises them on issues of organization, change implementation, leadership, and skills and human-resource management in general.
He is also active in McKinsey’s R&D work on organization issues. In particular, he co-established the research team dedicated to organization questions in the insurance sector, co-authoring the report, Managing global organizations, which McKinsey published in 2012. He also played an active role in the early research for the Women Matter initiative, establishing the correlation between the presence of women in the ranks of senior management and companies’ superior organizational and financial performance.
Pascal Baumgarten is a member of the steering committee of the Cercle du leadership and a member of the research committee of the HEC Foundation.
He chairs the Alumni Association of HEC, of which he is a graduate.
