About Karim
Karim Tadjeddine is a principal in McKinsey’s Paris office, where he co-leads the Public Sector Practice. He is also one of the leaders in McKinsey’s Public Sector Practice in Europe.
A specialist in performance improvement and large-scale change management, Karim has led extensive transformation programs—post-merger integration and operational restructuring—for public and private clients.
Karim is also an economic-development expert and advises governments in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa on the definition and implementation of national and sector-level economic policies. He has deep expertise in fiscal policy, public-support programs, public-holdings policies, as well as in reform programs.
Apart from his activities as a consultant, Karim is the administrator of the En temps réel think tank. He was also the rapporteur of the Commission de Libération de la Croissance Française (Commission for the Liberation of Growth in France)—the so-called Attali Commission—which was charged in 2007 and in 2010 by the French president to produce an agenda for structural reforms for the country.
Before joining McKinsey, Karim Tadjeddine worked at the Treasury Directorate of the Ministry of Finance, where he piloted the establishment of the Agence des Participations de l’État (Agency for the Administration of State Holdings).
