About Christophe
Based in Paris, Christophe François’s field of expertise is operational excellence in manufacturing, including lean management, supply-chain optimization, and investment optimization.
He co-leads the firm’s global work for mining and metallurgy clients, and the firm’s Aerospace and Defense Practice in Europe.
Christophe François is the director of Production Systems Design Center (PSDC), McKinsey’s internal training center for Lean Manufacturing. He also heads the external training center in Lyon, the Institute for Operational Excellence (INEXO), which McKinsey founded in 2009 in partnership with four of the region’s major engineering schools.
He is part of the global team that leads the McKinsey research initiative into agile operations, which aims to enhance companies’ operational and strategic reactivity in an environment of growing uncertainty.
