Which role to choose?

Generalist consultant roles

You are a young graduate looking for a varied job in which you will continue to grow. Or you already have an initial 5 to 8 years’ professional experience, which has given you industry or functional expertise that you would like to deepen by placing it at the service of our clients. If this describes you, join us as a consultant.

The qualities required include: strong problem-solving skills, analytical and technical excellence, and fundamental knowledge in all functional areas, but also great maturity, and the listening and communication skills to effectively bring about change.

Thanks to your operational and functional knowledge in a specific area or role, you add to the expertise of one of McKinsey’s practices. Apart from your contribution within client-engagement teams, you also make a substantial contribution to our body of knowledge and research work.
