How to apply

Our consultant-recruiting process consists of several interviews—generally two or three in succession. Each interview has three parts: a conversation addressing your professional career path and motivations, followed by a case-study interview and, lastly, a period of time for you to ask questions. Each interview takes a little less than one hour, including the case study.

The case study

The case study is a simulation exercise, the purpose of which is to help us analyze your reasoning when confronted with a specific problem. The case is usually based on an actual client project conducted by the interviewer and might deal with any sector of activity. We are not necessarily looking for a right answer. Rather, we are interested in your logic, reflected in the way you reason and interact.

We advise candidates invited to interview to prepare beforehand. Please visit the following pages on our global Web site:

You can also seek information directly from current or former consultants—for example, through your school’s alumni network—or from our recruiting department.
