About Yoshi
Yoshi leads McKinsey’s Aerospace and Defense, Automotive and Assembly, and Advanced Electronics practices in Japan.
His recent work includes supporting a holistic turnaround strategy for a Japanese automotive OEM that entailed refocusing the company’s portfolio, elevating the operations excellence, and improving sales and marketing activities. He also led a transformation program for a major manufacturing organization, which resulted in the company improving overall productivity and increasing the availability of outputs, as well as increasing its working capital productivity.
Yoshi has expertise in operations and has counseled many leaders on various dimensions of operating models and improvement efforts. Recently he helped a global manufacturer operating in Japan resolve supply-chain bottlenecks in connection with a major development program, counseled senior executives at a defense and aerospace organization, and helped transform an automotive organization's supply-chain management.
