About Masahiro
Masahiro is a co-leader of the High Tech Practice in Asia, and his main focus is serving Japanese manufacturing companies. He also contributes to the energy and automobile practices, where his experience in strategy and operations help firms develop compelling strategies and optimize their operation cost, especially for the purchasing and transportation/logistics functions.
Masahiro’s recent work in the high-tech sector includes leading a market-research effort to uncover consumer perceptions and needs and identifying responsive strategic options and new business-development plans for a digital device. Outside of Japan, Masahiro helped develop the go-to- market strategy for a consumer product and service in global markets.
He has recently helped multiple Japanese companies become truly global companies, contributing to developing a global strategy and new business plan for emerging countries for a Japanese firm and supporting a partnership with a foreign local player for another company.
His functional expertise in transportation and logistics allows him to serve companies in a variety of sectors. For instance, Masahiro supported the supply-chain management strategy implementation for a large Japanese manufacturing company and assisted the company in its efforts to transform its supply chain in the US and Europe.
