About Keiichi
Keiichi combines industry and functional expertise to help financial services companies use business technology to improve both their business performance and regulatory compliance. More specifically, he brings global experience leading technology- and finance-led transformations, having served financial institutions in Europe and the Americas as well as Asia.
Keiichi has proven expertise in optimizing enterprise architecture to minimize organizational and financial risk and developing data-management capabilities that protect and position data as a strategic asset.
Recently, Keiichi co-led the development and implementation of the IT strategy for a Canadian bank. That effort followed engagements at wholesale banks in the UK and Germany, the first of which was a re-organization and the latter focusing on improving enterprise risk management and development of risk strategy. Keiichi has also contributed his expertise to technology firms, recently assisting a major application IT vendor in designing solutions targeted at financial-services companies.
In an era where data security and privacy are top of mind for many firms, Keiichi is a sought-after thought leader, speaking frequently on IT and risk management to financial-services audiences. He has co-authored five books related to risk management and customer-data management.
