About Brian
Brian is one of the leaders of both our Consumer Packaged Goods & Retail and Pharmaceutical & Medical Products practices in Japan. His clients include both multinational and domestic clients in the consumer-goods (cosmetics, beverage, and apparel), retail, and healthcare (pharmaceuticals, medical products) sectors.
He has worked extensively with both multinational and domestic clients in the consumer and retail sectors across multiple Asian countries, including Japan, South Korea, China, and Australia, as well as other markets in Southeast Asia.
Much of Brian’s work has focused on the topics of strategy, organization, and marketing/consumer insights. He also has extensive experience in business development, including both due diligence and post-merger integration.
Brian is co-editor of Reimagining Japan: The Quest for a Future That Works (July 2011) and the author of several articles and reports on consumer and shopping behavior, all available at http://csi.mckinsey.com.
