Specialized practice consultant (Business Technology, Marketing & Sales, or Operations)

Specialized practice consultants (SPCs) are individuals who bring demonstrated experience and deep skills in a particular area. The Japan office is interested in individuals with Business Technology, Marketing & Sales, or Operations experience.

Who should apply

  • Business Technology:  Individuals who share our belief that business and technology issues are closely related and have more than four years of enterprise IT management experience, including software, hardware, outsourcing, services contracting and vendor management, and licensing.   • Marketing & Sales: Individuals with more than four years of experience managing a corporate marketing function or specialized area. McKinsey is seeking individuals who can support project teams and have demonstrated expertise in marketing strategy, branding, pricing, CRM, logistics, and marketing function capability enhancement.   • Operations: Individuals who have more than five years of experience in areas such as lean manufacturing, product development, supply and logistics, procurement, or service operations. What SPCs do

Specialized practice consultants collaborate with and support client project teams as needed, providing their expertise on short- or long-term engagements. They also contribute to McKinsey knowledge-building efforts.
