Appropriate candidates:

• are currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate school with demonstrated academic success
• have recently graduated (within the last 2 years) from university or graduate school (not a PhD program) with demonstrated academic success

Fellow analysts are responsible for individual areas of problem solving on a project. They gather and analyze information, meet with the client team, prepare project proposals and communications, and present findings to clients.

Within 2 or 3 years of joining, a fellow analyst may receive an offer to gain external leadership experience and pursue an MBA. We provide a comprehensive support system to help you prepare for these studies, as well as tuition and cost-of-living expenses. This provides our fellow analysts with global experience and language skills in addition to a degree. They also enjoy broad exposure to life and culture outside Angola before returning to McKinsey.

Appropriate candidates:

• have more than 4 years of work experience
• are currently enrolled in an MBA or graduate program or have already graduated from an overseas graduate school or MBA program

Associates lead a key portion of an engagement, usually called a “workstream.” They apply a broad range of creative problem-solving skills, combining technical and analytical skills to help solve their piece of the overall client puzzle. They synthesize conclusions into recommendations and work directly with senior client leaders to implement change.
