Jennifer joined McKinsey in 2004 and is based in the Sydney office. Her expertise includes leading performance transformations in a range of sectors, from mining and oil & gas to retail and consumer products. Jen brings a broad operations toolkit.
Jen has a special interest in execution and in supporting people to deliver results. She is passionate about cutting through barriers to change, which often involves tackling underlying mindset and behavioral shifts.
Her recent work includes:
- Leading a transformation program in the business unit of a global mining company, including establishing and managing the performance infrastructure and driving initiatives to deliver sustainable cost savings and increased throughput
- Leading the integration of a global beverage business in the Asia-Pacific region, including defining the strategic posture across countries, optimising routes-to-market, and establishing an integration approach
- Running the transformation program in a business unit of a global mining company to turnaround the business and preserve expansion plans; savings focused on external spend, heavily utilizing demand management levers to challenge the organisation to think differently
- Leading a team to design a new operating model for a large mining company with a matrix organisation structure; the company is on track to deliver ~20 percent cost savings, along with reduced duplication/complexity and more effective decision making
Jennifer has a keen interest in the startup world—including mentoring, advising, and angel investing. During her time on fellowship Jen worked at Google in a Product Marketing role.
