Damien leads McKinsey’s Health and Public Sector Practice in Asia, including health, aged care, social service, infrastructure, and digital delivery. He has extensive experience in serving public and private organisations in Australia, the United Kingdom, and the United States. He also leads the firm’s health analytics and private health insurance work across Asia.

Damien works with leaders in the health and public sector industries to undertake strategic transformations, improve productivity, and enhance operational effectiveness and outcomes. His experience spans the public sector—at both the federal and state levels—and the private sector, including health insurers, health providers, pharmaceutical companies, and community service providers.

Functionally, Damien has experience in operations, improper payments, service reconfiguration, operating model reform, and IT optimization. He also has deep expertise in digital technologies, including the design of telehealth trials, electronic-medical-record strategy, and public sector service delivery to citizens.

Damien has completed the Chartered Financial Analyst course and is a board member of the Royal Flying Doctor Service (Victoria).
