McKinsey in Singapore

Our Singapore office, founded in 1998, is an innovative hub that reflects the country’s dynamism and diversity. We offer our clients deep expertise—across every major sector and function—as well as cutting-edge analytical tools and broad-based capability-building programmes. We welcome the brightest talent from Singapore and across the world.

McKinsey partners with many of Singapore’s leading enterprises and institutions in their expansion and transformation, and we support major multinationals that have made the city-state their regional base. We help our clients accelerate growth, achieve breakthrough operational and organisational performance, and excellence in everything from digital to marketing to supply chain.

The McKinsey Innovation Campus, launched in 2012 in partnership with Singapore’s Economic Development Board, is emblematic of our commitment to delivering ground-breaking knowledge to help companies in Singapore and across Asia address their toughest challenges. The campus hosts centres for training, solution development, innovation, and capability building. It also includes the Asia hub of the McKinsey Centre for Government, the Asia Consumer Insights Centre, the sustainability-focused Green Campus, and the Centre for Healthcare Research and Innovation.

Impact on business and society

alternative content Kishore Mahbubani, dean, Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy with Chinta Bhagat, former managing partner, McKinsey & Company Singapore

Core to our values is a commitment to help achieve meaningful social impact.

For example, we helped the Red Cross triple the impact of its relief and recovery work following Super Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines.

A key priority is the development of future leaders. In Singapore we work with a wide range of organizations—from SPRING, the government’s SME agency, to individual companies and social enterprises—to build capabilities and establish mentoring relationships for young entrepreneurs and professionals. We nurture women’s leadership through mentorship, development programmes, and our research initiative, “Women Matter: An Asian Perspective (PDF–737 KB).”

We have supported the Government of Singapore in driving national priorities, including the Economic Strategy Committee of Singapore and the Government’s Committee on University Education Pathways Beyond 2015. McKinsey’s global managing partner, Dominic Barton, serves on the Singapore Economic Development Board’s International Advisory Council.

We have helped shape several key national institutions, including the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy. Established in 2004, the School is now a global and Asian hub, with leading international faculty and 400 students from 80 countries.
