Hiromitsu serves as leader of our Capital Productivity Practice in Japan while advising clients in the manufacturing and infrastructure sectors.
He engages with manufacturing sector leaders on a range of problem-solving issues, including company-wide and regional strategy design, new business startup, capability-building in design and purchasing, and productivity improvement.
As leader of McKinsey’s Capital Productivity Practice, Hiromitsu advises on large-scale investment management and other major issues facing Japanese companies expanding overseas, particularly into new regions. He makes optimal use of McKinsey’s global network and expertise to support project cost management and cost-competitiveness in large-scale overseas projects for Japanese manufacturers, power companies, and infrastructure and engineering companies.
