Lotta Kopra

ECEC Senior AdvisorHelsinki

Serves scale-ups and corporations on green business building journeys in the Nordic region and globally

Lotta is a senior advisor at McKinsey’s Helsinki office and specializes in green business building and sustainability.

Her focus is on helping companies grow through navigating the disruptions of technology and sustainability—both incumbents and the disruptors alike. Areas of work include scaling greenfield green businesses to global scale; and on the other hand, supporting incumbents plan and execute radical changes in strategy to transform a business area, or to build a new business area.

Prior to joining McKinsey, Lotta has held various executive positions, including operational and board of director roles. Her previous operational role has been a chief commercial officer position at a green textile scaleup where she ramped-up and run the commercial operations of the company. Her achievements include building product-market fit, closing commercial agreements with global customers, and raising series C finance for global scaling of company’s operations.

Earlier in her career, Lotta was a founder in the digital space, and in addition, she holds experience in leading IPOs, private placements, and M&A, both in operational roles as well as board positions.

When not working, Lotta takes pleasure in sports and outdoors, especially mountaineering, both in summer and in winter. She is a collector of Finnish glass art from the early twentieth century.
