In Denmark, working in close partnership with our clients is one of the most important characteristics of the way we work. Our client teams are made up of three to five McKinsey consultants, including a team leader, who is responsible for the day-to-day progress. The overall leadership of a project is carried out by at least one partner, and colleagues with relevant expertise are brought in from McKinsey’s vast global knowledge network as needed.
Our client collaborations help ensure that we have insight and access to relevant information in the organization and that the recommendations the team comes up with are practical and tailored to the context and culture of the client organization. Finally, the way we work provides ample opportunities for the McKinsey team and the client team to learn from each other, and both consultants and client team members often emphasize that they benefit greatly from this.
