Sanjeev serves telecom, high tech and portfolio companies in Middle East, Africa and Asia. His primary areas of focus are strategy, regulation, marketing and sales, and portfolio management. He is a member of McKinsey’s Next Generation Technology Initiative.
Sanjeev’s recent client experiences include guiding development of a corporate strategy for a large Asian telco and leading efforts to develop and commercialize a middle eastern telco’s fiber (FTTH) network. He also recently supported the Chief Marketing Officer of a multinational telco to establish marketing governance across the group 15-nation portfolio, helping to define synergy capture initiatives, set performance targets, and manage performance across operating companies.
Sanjeev also is involved in new business launches and turnaround efforts, supporting market entry for a mobile attacker in a large South Asian market and also serving the Board of a Middle Eastern conglomerate to turnaround performance and restructure the portfolio.
He has co-authored or contributed to a number of McKinsey articles about various aspects of the telecom industry.
