About Alok
Alok is a senior partner and the co-leader of McKinsey Asia Center—a special initiative to mobilize the best thinking, capabilities, and relationships to help leading Asian and multinational companies capture the full value of globalization. The Center specializes in developing innovative business models, maximizing value from cross-border mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures, and designing effective global organizations. The Center has partners in India, China, Korea, Japan, UK, Germany, and the US.
Alok also leads McKinsey's Risk Management practice in Asia. In addition to client service, Alok leads McKinsey's pro-bono support to government and regulators on economic development and policy reform in India, and serves on the boards of research and non-profit institutions including The National Association for the Blind, The Next-Gen Leaders Board of Indian School of Business, and PRS Legislative Research. The World Economic Forum named him a “Young Global Leader” in recognition of his commitment to international business and public policy.
