About Kartik
Kartik Jayaram is a principal in McKinsey’s Chicago office and a member of the Economic Development, Agriculture and Education practices.
He serves clients from the private sector, governments, foundations, and development agencies, where he helps develop strategies that drive large-scale operational improvements and organizational transformations in the fields of education and agriculture. He has worked in McKinsey’s Kuala Lumpur, Shanghai, and Paris offices.
Kartik leads McKinsey's Education Practice in North America and supports clients in K-12 and higher education across a range of topics including: performance management, education technology, growth strategies, and operations.
In agriculture and economic development, his private sector work includes serving global agriculture processing companies, equipment manufacturers, and input providers. Much of his recent economic development work has focused on initiatives to fight poverty and hunger in Sub-Saharan Africa.
