About Judy
Judy’s work is centered on ensuring the sustained success of large-scale organizational transformation and developing new insights into organizational behavior for the benefit of clients. She works with CEOs and senior teams to apply “hard” approaches and tools to the “soft” aspects of organizational performance—thereby shifting the underlying mind-sets that drive group behavior.
More recently, Judy’s work has been concentrated on the public and social sectors in sub-Saharan Africa. Her focus has been healthcare, education, and job creation, environments that offer ample opportunities to help resolve complex systemic challenges. For example, she has partnered with South Africa’s Black Management Forum to explore ways to accelerate the development of black leaders; helped South Africa’s government develop and implement a business plan for creating 10,000 new jobs in business process outsourcing; and advised the Namibian government on a major project to transform the effectiveness of its healthcare system.
Judy assists groups in developing a common language to harmonize values that are in conflict, and she enjoys approaching challenges from a systems perspective to help accomplish social and economic transformation. She has dedicated her career to the achievement of mutual understanding to unleash the potential of individuals and groups to uplift social systems in Africa.
