About Doan

Doan Hackley is a principal in McKinsey’s Geneva office and member of the Global Public Health Practice.

Doan works with global health organizations to help them fulfill their missions to improve health in low-income countries. This work includes strategies or operational improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness by leveraging best practices. Doan’s work focuses largely on increasing access to medicines through innovative partnerships and business models. Doan also works with private-sector pharmaceutical clients to develop business strategies and improve operations, and strengthen sales and marketing.

Doan’s recent work has included identifying best practices for engaging the private sector in addressing the socio-economic challenges of low and low-middle income countries. Doan has also been instrumental in helping a health partnership develop a strategic framework for its R&D investment in endemic diseases in Africa.

Prior to joining McKinsey, Doan was a medicinal chemist working in the fields of immunology, oncology, metabolic diseases, and cardiovascular disease.
