About Acha
Acha Leke, a native of Cameroon, heads McKinsey’s office in Lagos, Nigeria, where he supports clients across the public, social and private sectors. His work includes investment and growth strategies, business building, turnarounds, and economic development across Sub Saharan Africa.
In 2010, Acha co-authored a groundbreaking report “Lions on the Move: The progress and potential of African economies,” which examined the sources of past and future growth across the continent, and established a framework for understanding how challenges and opportunities will differ across Africa’s 54 countries.

He is also a co-founder of the African Leadership Network, a network of next-generation African leaders who aspire to bring prosperity to the continent. In 2008, he was selected as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum, as Africa’s Young Investment Professional of the year at the Ai Investment Awards, and as one of the top 100 movers and shakers in Africa by Les Afriques, one of Africa’s leading financial journals. Recently, Acha was recognized by Forbes as one of the top 10 youngest power men in Africa.
