About Maurizio
Maurizio is a senior leader in our global Risk Practice and our Financial Services Practice in Europe. Based in Milan, he has helped drive much of our work on credit ratings, credit processes, and workout. He advises financial institutions throughout Europe on credit risk, retail banking, corporate strategy, and post-merger management.
Maurizio’s recent projects have included the creation of a governance structure for an international banking group’s credit business; the integration of credit methodologies, processes, and systems for corporate and retail customers of seven banks in Eastern Europe; the development of a 3-year post-merger business plan for a European financial institution; and the design and implementation of Basel II strategies for a global bank.
Maurizio joined McKinsey in 1994. He holds business degrees from the University of Naples Federico II and Bocconi University.
