About Manish
Manish leads our Healthcare Systems & Services Practice in Southeast Asia. Within the broader Asia-Pacific region, he is a leader in our Pharmaceuticals and Medical Products Practice as well as in our Marketing and Sales Practice, where his work focuses on pricing.
Manish specializes in helping health care clients on overall strategy, mergers and acquisitions, revenue management, operational improvement, and organizational design and effectiveness. He has also led many business-to-business and business-to-consumer pricing projects in health care and other sectors. He leads our internal knowledge-building efforts on health care pricing, and has given numerous presentations on this topic in various forums.
Among Manish’s clients are large private hospital systems, leading multinational pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, academic medical centers, and sovereign wealth funds with healthcare interests. Some of his recent projects have involved assisting a government health agency in defining a business model that would promote socio-economic sustainability; and helping hospital groups improve their sourcing capabilities and investigate expansion opportunities.
Manish earned a BS in chemical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, and received an MS and PhD in the same field from the University of Michigan. He joined McKinsey’s Detroit office in 2001 and moved to Asia in 2010. He is now based in Singapore.
