About Christian
Christian is a leader in our Public Sector, Social Sector, and Operations practices in Europe. His areas of expertise include purchasing and supply management, defense and security, transportation, infrastructure, and education. He also co-leads the McKinsey Center for Government’s work on fiscal management, with a focus on budget and spending reviews.
Among recent projects, Christian has helped a number of Northern European government organizations conduct comprehensive spending reviews, as well as design and implement performance-transformation programs. He recently advised a finance ministry as it restructured the central government’s purchasing functions and supported a national transportation agency in its efforts to optimize planning and project management in road construction.
Christian holds a master’s degree in economics from University of Copenhagen. Prior to joining McKinsey in 2000, he worked for Denmark’s Ministry of Finance and the Danish Conservative Party. He is based in London.
