About Vikas
Vikas leads our operations work with pharmaceuticals companies in Asia. Based in Delhi, he serves pharmaceutical and medical-product companies in India and globally on strategy, operations, and organizational topics.
Vikas led a comprehensive McKinsey research project on the offshoring and outsourcing opportunities available in pharmaceutical operations. He has helped a number of global companies secure large-scale sourcing opportunities in low-cost countries—projects that included partner evaluation and selection, deal structure and negotiation, setting up local organizations and governance frameworks, and implementing risk-mitigation strategies. Vikas has also led multi-year transformation programs for Indian pharmaceutical companies, including API and formulations manufacturing, purchasing, supply chain, product development, and product rationalization.
