About Jonathan
Based in New York, Jonathan leads our media technology work in North America. He supports media and entertainment companies across the industry spectrum, with a focus on IT strategy and organization.
Jonathan often speaks on business technology topics including shared services and off-shoring and outsourcing at conferences and has been cited in publications including, The Financial Times and in leading IT trade publications.
With university degrees in both computer science and business, Jonathan helps his media clients employ technology as a source of business improvement. His work often includes setting new IT strategy but can also encompass operational redesign, technology-enabled operations improvement, and organizational restructuring. He helps executives make the most of emerging business opportunities in digital distribution.
Some of Jonathan’s recent work includes:
- Redesigning the advertising sales and licensing operations for a global media conglomerate—work that involved assessing options for streamlining data management as well as identifying technology solutions and designing a new organization and governance model
- Detailing strategic options for a leading digital-content distributor, including assessing market potential across the video-delivery value chain and identifying technology-investment and acquisition candidates
- Designing a shared-services operation for a leading publisher, including the integration of finance, human resources, IT, and purchasing activities and the creation of a consolidated infrastructure for digital operations
Jonathan serves as VP of Finance of Yeshiva of North New Jersey Day School.
