About Subbu
Subbu Narayanswamy helps lead the Infrastructure practice in Asia. He directs McKinsey’s work on real estate globally. He also holds leadership positions in the Operations practice in Asia and works closely with the Oil and Gas practice. Subbu has worked extensively in emerging and developed markets in India, China, the Middle East, Southeast Asia and the U.S.
An expert in the design and execution of mega projects, Subbu helps clients significantly reduce the project costs and timelines for multi-billion dollar projects, including new cities, roads, green-field refineries, power plants, and steel plants. He recently supported a large real estate player in Asia on a variety of topics including strategy, land acquisition, organization, cost reduction, and leadership development. Subbu was also involved in setting up four large cities and mixed-use developments in China, the Middle East, and India.
