About Per-Nicklas
Per-Nicklas is a leader in the Infrastructure practice. He directs McKinsey’s work on engineering and construction globally. He is also a regional leader in the Operations practice, where he focuses on capital productivity and service operations.
Based in Stockholm, Per-Nicklas serves clients on a range of topics related to strategy, cost and productivity, organization and talent management, and growth. His clients include engineering and construction firms, real estate developers, facilities management companies, subcontractors, and building material manufacturers. He also works with heavy equipment manufacturers in the automotive and assembly sectors. Recent projects include:
- Helping a global construction and development company design and implement a new governance model
- Supporting an European residential developer as it defined its vision and strategy for a five-year period
- Working with a leading contractor in Africa to improve its operations by adopting lean principles and transforming its risk management and purchasing functions
