About Robert

Robert is a core member of McKinsey’s Corporate Finance Practice, where he leads the Transactions group for the Americas as well as the firm’s West Coast Industrial group.

Robert’s clients include established companies in the high-tech, electric power, natural gas, and industrial sectors. He is well known for his design and implementation of value-capture programs—generally undertaken in the context of M&A or other restructuring efforts—which he has applied successfully to several notable transactions. Robert leads McKinsey’s knowledge-building in merger management and integration.

Robert’s insights on a variety of topics including M&A best practices, corporate finance, valuation methods, and energy management can be found in publications such as the Harvard Business Review, as well as the McKinsey Quarterly. He is also a frequent speaker and panelist at industry events focusing on finance.
