About Bertil
Bertil is a senior partner in McKinsey’s Silicon Valley office where he serves high tech, telecom, and media companies. He is also the leader of the firm's Consumer Center of Excellence in the Americas, collaborating on a number of research efforts including iConsumer, which explores the evolving digital behaviors of consumers around the world. Bertil was previously a leader in the firm’s Corporate Finance Practice as well, and continues to be a counselor to several leading CEOs and CFOs in the high tech industry.
For nearly 20 years Bertil has served leading high tech and telecom companies, including software, hardware, and services providers. His client work focuses on strategy, organization, and operations improvement efforts. He has led several major, multi-year corporate transformations. Recent projects focused on improving the purchasing and supply chain management functions at a wireless provider, and enhancing sales and channel management capabilities for an enterprise software firm.
Bertil and his wife live in Palo Alto with their three children. He has a keen interest in education and has served the highly regarded Palo Alto School District.
