Impact report: McKinsey helps shape Brazil's ITC agenda
Brazil could be one of the world’s top sources of services and innovation in ITC—information, technology and communications—by 2022. McKinsey partners serving those sectors in Latin America are working to make that goal a reality. A McKinsey team engaged to support "Brazil ITC 2022", an initiative by the government of Brazil, is helping define a strategy and action plan for the country’s ITC sectors. The effort also involves BrassCom, the Brazil Association of Information Technology and Communication Companies, members of which include leading tech companies such as Microsoft, Cisco, Oracle, and IBM. McKinsey partners recently hosted a dinner and workshop to discuss their research findings and implications for different ITC sectors and agree on key actions for the next phase.
