
The Internet's Impact on Aspiring Countries
Data is provided for 57 countries accounting for 91 percent of World GDP.
Metrics are organized in four main categories:
- McKinsey indices: Indices developed by McKinsey to assess the maturity and potential of Internet
- Internet development indicators: Metrics indicative of Web infrastructure and usage by individuals, businesses and governments
- Macro-economic indicators: Metrics on economy, education, research & development, population and employment
- McKinsey SME survey 2011: Reporting data from survey by McKinsey on use and impact of Internet in small and medium businesses in Sep-Nov 2011
How to use the tool:
Step 1: select data (on the right) to display
Step 2: select countries (on the left) whose data you want displayed
Step 3: select type of graph (upper left corner) to display among 'line chart', 'bar chart', 'map chart' and 'bubble chart'
Step 4: if you selected 'bubble chart', select data (on the bottom) to display on 'X axis'
Step 5: you can now try different graphs and datasets to explore the data
