About Stefan
Stefan works with both retailers and consumer goods companies, focusing on strategy, technology, and channel management. He is a core member of our Consumer Packaged Goods Practice, leading our work on Technology.
Much of Stefan’s work revolves around opportunities and challenges arising from new distribution channels. He has helped clients on a range of topics, from e-commerce growth strategies to multichannel pricing optimization projects. Frequently this includes comprehensive counseling on the technological infrastructure his clients need to succeed. In addition, Stefan helps executives drive large-scale transformation programs, optimizing strategy, operational performance, and overall cost structure. He works mainly in Europe and Asia, with a focus on consumer electronics, apparel, and automotive clients.
Drawing on his background in game theory, Stefan has published on Germany’s seminal UMTS mobile frequency auction in 2000, an event that is widely regarded as one of the most capital-intensive ventures in the history of business technology.
