About Björn

Björn is one of the leaders of our work on marketing for consumer goods companies in Europe. Based in London, he serves both leading makers of fast-moving consumer goods and retailers on topics including marketing, customer management, and strategy.

Björn specializes in marketing ROI optimization. He has recently helped develop an end-to-end marketing ROI approach for one of the world’s top consumer goods companies, including modules for budget allocation to markets and categories, as well as for improved media selection. Björn also serves packaged goods clients on issues of corporate strategy and brand portfolio management, often drawing on advanced analytics in the area of consumer and product segmentation. Additionally, he has recently helped a global consumer electronics company design and implement a new marketing and product-management organization.

Björn holds a bacehelor's degree from Durham University in the UK and an MPhil from Cambridge University. Before joining McKinsey, Björn completed a four-year term at Procter & Gamble’s Beauty Care division in the UK and in Switzerland.
