About Sunil
Sunil Sanghvi is the global co-leader of the Economic Development Practice, with deep expertise in the agricultural and chemical sectors. He serves clients on a wide range of strategy, organization, and operational projects.
Sunil first joined McKinsey in 1986, served for a year at the World Bank in 1991-2, and then rejoined McKinsey.
Recently, Sunil's primary focus is on economic development and agricultural projects for governments and foundations. Examples of his work include guiding a leading foundation on its strategy and grant-making approaches for smallholder agriculture, and supporting three African governments on end-to-end agricultural transformations.
Sunil was also the lead McKinsey adviser for the creation of the “New Vision for Agriculture Roadmap,” prepared for the World Economic Forum.
Sunil serves on the Advisory Committee on Voluntary Foreign Aid for USAID (United States Agency for International Development) and on the board of the Chicago Council on Global Affairs.
