About Pierre

Pierre is a principal in McKinsey’s Geneva office, where he focuses mainly on serving clients in food and agriculture, including commodity processing and trading. He leads our work in the agricultural sector across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

Pierre acted as a project advisor to the World Economic Forum’s “New Vision for Agriculture” initiative featured at Davos in 2011. Among other projects, he has worked on defining long-term corporate growth priorities in response to major trends in food and agriculture and supported a company as it reorganized to implement a new farmer-centric strategy. He recently helped to lead the design of new agricultural development strategies for two nations in Africa.

Before specializing in food and agriculture, Pierre worked extensively in the consumer goods and retail sectors. Earlier in his career he spent four years as an operational auditor at Nestlé.
