About Tor Jakob
Tor Jakob is a leader of McKinsey's Business Technology Practice and heads up the firm's Norway Office. Previously he was a business technology leader in Scandinavia.
His engagement experience at McKinsey includes integrating the back-office functions of a global media company to realize synergies before an IPO introduction; supporting a regional IT service provider in building an outsourcing business; helping a large European telecom operator develop a sourcing strategy (network, applications, and IT infrastructure), including during negotiations of the outsourcing for its infrastructure operations and offshoring of the application development and management.
