About Jonathan
Based in New York, Jonathan is the leader of our global shared-services practice and the leader of our media-technology work in North America. He supports media and entertainment, consumer, and a broader set of companies on shared services, outsourcing and offshoring, and IT strategy projects.
Jonathan often speaks on business technology topics at conferences and has been cited in publications including, The Financial Times and in leading IT trade publications.
With university degrees in both computer science and business, Jonathan helps his clients employ technology as a source of business improvement. His work often includes setting new IT strategy and organization models but can also encompass broader business support-function redesign and technology-enabled operations improvement.
Some of Jonathan’s recent work includes:
- Designing a shared-services operation for a leading publisher, including the integration of finance, human resources, IT, and purchasing activities and the creation of a consolidated infrastructure for digital operations.
- Developing the outsourcing strategy for the digital operations of a leading music company including assessing the end-to-end digital supply chain and evaluating the economic and strategic value of various partnerships.
- Redesigning the global shared-services operations for a leading beverage company with a focus on traditional business-support functions (e.g., IT, Finance, HR) as well as a broader set of functions that could benefit from shared operations (e.g., sales support functions, supply-chain management).
- Designing the business intelligence strategy for a leading consumer packaged goods company including developing the roadmap for building shared technology and business-support functions for cross-business data operations.
Jonathan serves as VP of finance for Yeshiva of North New Jersey Day School.
