About André
Over the past two decades, Andre has worked with advanced industries clients on a wide range of topics including performance transformation, strategic planning, manufacturing strategy, world-class benchmarking, process reengineering, R&D portfolio optimization, innovation, organizational effectiveness, pre- and post-merger integration, technology-based diversification, and joint-venture arrangements.
His recent projects include:
- Working with an global electronic components company on a restructuring and strategic plan
- Developing a marketing and sales strategy with a semiconductor manufacturer
- Advising a high-tech manufacturer on financial planning and target setting
- Working with a European aerospace & defense company to evaluate its R&D and product-development systems.
Recently, André began serving as a dean of McKinsey’s Bower Forum for new CEOs, a program that helps new and early-tenure chief executives transition into the CEO role and shape their personal and professional priorities.
Prior to joining McKinsey in 1988, André worked in sales, marketing, and engineering for Masco Corporation in the United States and at IBM Europe and Asia. He received an MBA with distinction from the Wharton School of Business, where he was a Fulbright Scholar, as well as an MA with distinction in economics and a BSc with distinction in telecommunications engineering from universities in his home town of Vienna, Austria.
André is fluent in Armenian, German, English, Farsi, and Spanish. He serves on the board of Armenia 2020, a nonprofit focused on Armenia’s economic development.
