A Wake Up Call

A study of which European policies best support developing female leaders

“A Wake Up Call for Female Leadership in Europe” was presented at the 13th Global Summit of Women in Berlin. The annual gathering, nicknamed “Davos for Women,'”drew 1,000 female business, professional, governmental, and entrepreneurial women. The report was written and presented by Claudia Funke and Katrin Suder, partners from our German office.

Additional authors of the report were Anke Domscheit, engagement manager, and Stephanie Lotz, senior associate, from Berlin. The team analyzed comparative data for 25 European countries to determine how opportunities for women differ across the region and identify which governmental policies and business practices best promote female employment and the development of female leaders.
