McKinsey has been serving clients in the region since 1984 and established an office in Zagreb in early 2003 with the aim of making McKinsey a valuable member of the local business community. Our client portfolio spans local market leaders and multinational companies.
McKinsey Zagreb is a small but friendly and international office. One-third of our members are Croatian nationals, with the other two-thirds from a variety of nations around the globe. One of the office’s most important initiatives is Ideja, Croatia’s first business plan competition.
But it’s not all work. On a recent retreat, all colleagues and spouses took a sailing trip along the coast where everyone also earned their sailing licenses. Further afield, the office went to St. Moritz for some skiing. Together with the offices in Budapest, Bratislava, Moscow, Prague, and Warsaw, Zagreb forms McKinsey's Eastern European office complex—a vibrant cluster in our firm with deep expertise on the specific challenges and opportunities of this region.
