With New York and Boston, Stamford is part of McKinsey’s Northeast office complex. Though smaller than our sister offices, we are part of the regional network so have access to the same client opportunities while still maintaining a community feel.
It’s a short trip from the office to the beaches of the Long Island Sound and Stamford Harbor, as well as to the suburban Connecticut communities that make the Stamford office uniquely family-friendly.
Each summer we have a family event, such as going to the Bronx Zoo. On Super Fridays, our monthly lunches and happy hours, we come together to learn about how the firm is doing and ask questions. Our retreats tend to be sand-bound—we’ve been to Great Exuma in the Bahamas and Mayakoba in Mexico to reconnect and recharge.
