The Seattle location was established in 1995 and retains a culture that is close-knit, entrepreneurial, and community focused. Our strong local client base allows many Seattle consultants to remain close to home. Being a part of the Seattle location provides opportunities to serve many of the industry-leading, innovative corporations headquartered there.
The Seattle location’s industry focus mirrors the Pacific Northwest’s economic diversity. The majority of our clients are in the technology and telecommunications sectors, followed closely by the industrial (including aerospace and energy) sector. We also serve clients in consumer goods and retail, financial services, and health care, as well as a number of influential nonprofit organizations.
Seattle is home to a diverse array of functional expertise. One Seattle partner, for example, leads McKinsey’s corporate governance practice. Another helps lead the firm’s West Coast work in industrial strategy, operations, and change management. And several are experts in high-tech strategy, organization, change management, and sales and marketing.
