Our office is located in one of the tallest and most modern buildings downtown. We are on the 44th floor and enjoy a wonderful view of Mount Royal, the St. Lawrence Seaway, the city, and its surroundings.
Each Friday we have lunches together, some featuring external speakers who talk to us and answer questions about a wide range of topics. We have a December dinner dance, children’s holiday party, an auction to raise money for causes, Cabane à sucre (maple sugar festival), as well as our office barbecue. With the other offices in Canada—Toronto and Calgary—Montreal consultants enjoyed a 4-day “Refresh, Re-energize, and Reconnect” retreat. The theme was “Canada in the future” and featured discussions on a wide variety of topics, including Canada-U.S. relations, risks/opportunities of environmental change, and the future of universal health care. We also enjoyed a few activities many consider typical to our country: dog sledding, skiing, curling, and snowmobiling.
