Located in an historic building (built 1898), McKinsey's Madrid office is set in the center of town. Not too far from the Parque del Retiro (where you can row) or the Museo del Prado, the office is steps away from the sites of the city.
We have a summer party on our patio every year as well as integration events - parties, activities, etc. - for our business analysts (BAs), summer BAs, and other new hires to help introduce them to the office and each other. We also have a band made up of some consultants and one of our directors that has played at our parties. Most importantly, we have a football team that recently defeated one of our important rivals.
With the rest of the Iberian office complex (including Lisbon and Barcelona), we take retreats to help develop new friendships, discuss our office, and have some fun. Most recently we went to Algarve in Portugal.
