The Dubai office prides itself on being one of the most diverse offices at McKinsey. Consultants from more than 40 countries work in the office’s two locations—the other one is Manama (Bahrain)—that cover the Gulf Cooperation Council region.
Office retreats have included relaxing in Egypt at the Sharm Al Sheikh resort, watching the Formula 1 race in Bahrain, as well as desert excursions by camel. Many like to say that Dubai is the only place in the world where someone can sandboard on desert dunes in the morning, snowboard at the indoor Ski Dubai in the afternoon, and surf in the Arabian Sea in the evening.
