Located right on the banks of the Nile, the Cairo office is the most recent addition to our Mediterranean Complex which also includes offices in Italy, Greece, Turkey and Israel.
We are still a very small local crowd which creates a feeling of a close family and also provides myriads of opportunities for entrepreneurship, initiative and leadership -- both on the client side and within the office.
At the same time we are neither a lonely nor an isolated small island -- with 30+ consultants working here from many of the offices worldwide you really get a feel of being a part of McKinsey.
We work hard and reserve time for networking and socializing -- although we are only live from June 2008, we have already had our Values' Day in June and we also ran the first ever Egypt & Libya Knowledge Day in September. And we are planning for more -- our annual celebration dinner is planned for December, and we are working on our first retreat program.
